Nowell humorously advised viewers to stay indoors during the extreme heat warning, saying, “So what you’re going to want to do is probably stay inside and just don’t go out until it’s safe again.”
Hawkins commended the duo’s teamwork as they took turns delivering the forecast, with the musicians playfully prompting each other to “take it away.”
The forecast segment included light-hearted commentary on various weather conditions, such as the Bay Area’s climate, triple-digit temperatures in the Inland Empire, and a comical suggestion to wear “SPF 1000.” Hawkins concluded the segment by acknowledging Sublime’s participation in the forecast, stating, “And that is Sublime… and your forecast.”
