Bob Seger is rereleasing his 2006 album “Face the Promise” for its 20th anniversary, with an expanded two-LP edition including four bonus tracks.The album is also being released to streaming services for the first time, with the midtempo track “Little Jane” already available for streaming.
“Face the Promise” was Seger’s first album since 1995 and marked his 16th studio album overall, selling 151,000 copies in its first week and debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard 200.
The rerelease of “Face the Promise” is newly remastered by Seger’s longtime mastering engineer Robert Vosgien and comes in a gatefold jacket with a 12-page LP-sized booklet, available for preorder at $29.98 from Seger’s webstore with official release September 18th.
