A newly restored version of The Beatles Anthology series, originally aired 30 years ago, is set to premiere on Disney+. The nine-episode docuseries will showcase the band’s history and legacy in a three-night streaming event starting on Nov. 26.
The original series was a multimedia history of the Beatles, featuring interviews with Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison, along with archival footage of John Lennon.
The new version will include previously unreleased footage of the band putting together Anthology, with the final episode directed by Oliver Murray. Disney+ will release the docuseries in batches of three episodes over three days, adding to the collection of Beatles films and series available on the platform.
