Did you know that Lisa Loeb’s signature hit “Stay” was originally written for Daryl Hall? It’s true – and the duo finally got the chance to perform it together.
Loeb joined Hall on the latest episode of Live From Daryl’s House, where she tells the story about writing “Stay” when she heard Hall was looking for songs for a solo record.
Of course, it was Loeb who ended up recording the song herself and taking it to #1 in 1994.
