Meet Chris. He is a 44 year old single (divorced) dad from Ohio. He recently went on TikTok to try to find a plus one for a day at King’s Island amusement park. As he explains in the first post he is taking his 15 year old daughter and a friend for the day and wants someone to go with so he has a companion to ride the rides with since his daughter will be riding with her friend. The video went viral and has over 3 million views and more than 250,000 comments! He seems like a pretty nice guy and actually has some pretty good jokes to go with his personality. Check it out!
Soooooooo… Does he get his date? Does he find his plus one for the day???? We’ll get to that in a minute, first I want to tell you what he did that made me (and several people in the comments) a big fan of “Chris from Ohio.” In the “part 2” video he did announce that he had picked someone but he also did something for one woman who commented. He said that the first comment that caught his attention was from a widow with two boys that wanted to go. He said he didn’t choose her but wanted to buy her and her boys tickets to the park to go have a day of fun! He also says it’s something that he would like to do for others on an annual basis! Sooooo to the big reveal!! Who did he pick??? I was dying to know and thankfully he updated us from the park! In the part 3 video we get to see his daughter and her friend as they are at the park for the day and she introduces her dad who then introduces us to the very shy young woman that he picked to spend the day with.
There are no further updates at this point as to whether they hit it off or if there will be any additional “dates” but I wish them all the best and have followed him to see if this story does have the fairy tale ending where they all “lived happily ever after!”
