You can never be to prepared… even when you pass. This may seem weird to think about, but it will happen to everyone as some point (lets just hope it is really late in life) but what happens/what should you do when it comes to technology and the digital age? The New York Post came out with tech things you should set up now to protect your ‘digital legacy.’ These are some things you should do today as a just in case:

  1. If you have an Apple phone you should assign a ‘Legacy Contact’ Go to Passwords & Security to adjust your settings
  2. Memorialization Settings on Facebook. This person will be able to write post for you, update your profile picture and get a copy of everything you’ve ever posted.
  3. Automatically wipe your Google History. In your Google account in the ‘Web & App Activity’ setting there is an option to auto-delete stuff every three months. (You may just want to do this anyways)
