Rod Stewart is easily one of the most recognizeable voices in music and with a career that spans nearly 6 decades he is worth an estimated 300 million dollars! So why would he be filling potholes on a road???
At first, when I saw this happening on social media I thought that maybe he had gotten into some trouble and had to do some community service or something of the sort. Nope. Not the case.
The 77 year old rocker took to social media to show everyone how well the city near his house was maintaining the roads. He said that he has asked several times for the roads to be fixed but the city has done nothing about it. Footage shared on social media showed the singer, dressed in a tracksuit and hi-vis jacket, claiming that he was “repairing the street near where I live because no one can be bothered to do it”.
“People are bashing their cars up,” he said. “The other day, there was an ambulance with a burst tyre. My Ferrari can’t go through here at all.”
“We are filling in the holes ourselves while millions and millions of pounds are being spent on the M11,” he added.
He may have been “knighted” by her majesty and he may be a rock n roll icon, but he’s surely not afraid to get his hands dirty!
