I got to see ‘The Batman’ on Friday night and it was fantastic! If you haven’t seen Robert Pattinson as The Batman I highly recommend you do. The movie kept me locked in the entire time and was one of the darkest Batman movies ever. The action was amazing and it left you wanting more. Which is why it is no surprise that it destroyed the box office bringing in $129 million.
I’ll be the first to admit that I was skeptical about Robert Pattinson as Batman but after watching the movie, I was just blown away not just by his interpretation of Batman but also that of Bruce Wayne. As a result Pattinson joins my top 5 list of favorite Batman’s.
Prior to The Batman hitting theaters last weekend, onepoll asked 1,000 people to weigh in on who they felt brought Batman to life the most. To my surprise and maybe to yours as well, Gen Z and millennials thought Ben Affleck was the best bat man. Meanwhile Gen Xers thought Michael Keaton was the best, which I agree with, and baby boomers thought Adam West was the best.
Best Batman according to onepoll:
- Ben Affleck – 31%
- Michael Keaton – 30%
- Kevin Conroy – 28%
- Christian Bale – 26%
- Adam West – 25%
Do you agree with their findings? I’ll be the first to admit they got it wrong, especially since Ben Affleck didn’t even get his own standalone Batman movie. However, I will give him the benefit of the doubt and place him way above Val Kilmer and George Clooney.
In my opinion these are the top 5 Batman’s:
- Michael Keaton
- Christian Bale
- Adam West
- Will Arnett
- Robert Pattinson
