We all know Benny Mardones and his mega hit “Into the Night” from his 1980 album “Never Run, Never Hide.” Benny’s blue-eyed soul voice and energy made that a song a staple for radio not only when it came out, but as it is still being played today ( it went on to chart again in 1989). A “timeless Classic” as we say in the business. Unfortunately, Benny passed away at the age of seventy-three from complications of the disease in 2020.
