When I think back to growing up in the 80’s two things come to mind, D.A.R.E and line dancing. You remember D.A.R.E right? And on one fateful day in 4th grade in 1987 those two things collided. My school partnered with a neighboring school for some sort of let’s scare the hell out of kids about the dangers of drugs, throw out some free t-shirts and then we’ll have all the boys and girls grab their partner and do-si-do. I can’t even make something that bizarre up. If memory serves me right I wanna say the line dancing thing was somehow part of a chapter we were being forced to do in gym class. Anyway, whenever I see people doing the “Cupid Shuffle”, “electric Slide” or the “Macarena” I think of the war on drugs and I always, “Just say NO”. With all that said I came across this really cool youtuber called “There I Ruined It” and he decided to take one of the most iconic songs from the 90’s, “Loser” from Beck and turn it into a confusing square dance song.
I’m going to sit this dance out but you feel free to work on your coaster step.
