Metallica will have a residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas with an eight-show run scheduled for October 2026, featuring a “No Repeat Weekend” format with different setlists each night. The residency will showcase songs from Metallica’s catalog alongside the venue’s immersive technology, including a wraparound LED display, spatial audio, and multi-sensory effects.
Drummer Lars Ulrich mentioned being inspired by U2’s shows at the Sphere in 2023, leading Metallica to choose the venue for their residency. Ticket sales for the residency, including two-night “No Repeat Weekend” packages and single-night tickets, will begin on March 6, with presales starting on March 2 for fan club and artist members.
