Lynyrd Skynyrd is reissuing their fourth album, Gimme Back My Bullets, on red, yellow, and black multicolor vinyl to celebrate its 50th anniversary. The album showcases a variety of Skynyrd’s musical abilities, including hit singles like “Double Trouble” and the title track, as well as folk-rock, blues-rock, and ballads.
The band worked with producer Tom Dowd on Gimme Back My Bullets, with Ronnie Van Zant praising Dowd’s collaborative approach and musical expertise.
Skynyrd will be featured in a Budweiser Super Bowl ad that will include their iconic song “Free Bird” and celebrate Budweiser’s 150th anniversary and the 250th anniversary of the United States.
