The future of Aerosmith is uncertain due to Steven Tyler’s injured larynx, but guitarist Joe Perry is keeping the band’s music alive with a new iteration of the Joe Perry Project.
The band, featuring Brad Whitford, Chris Robinson, and Robert DeLeo, kicked off their tour with a mix of Aerosmith classics and songs from Black Crowes and Stone Temple Pilots. Despite Tyler’s recovery, an Aerosmith tour remains unlikely, but a farewell concert is a possibility. In the meantime, the Joe Perry Project is giving fans a taste of the Aerosmith experience.
