Jack White, former White Stripes frontman, received his first-ever mobile phone as a gift from his wife on his 50th birthday.
White, who has long been against mobile phones at his gigs, had never owned one before due to his belief that people are addicted to them. He shared the news on Instagram, expressing both reluctance and humor about the situation. White had previously banned cellphones from his live shows and speculated on the future of technology. Despite his resistance, he now finds himself with a phone and is looking forward to connecting with others.
