The Foo Fighters have released a new song called “Today’s Song,” to commemorate the anniversary of their self-titled debut album.

Dave Grohl reflected on the band’s journey, stating, “Over the years, we’ve had moments of unbridled joy, and moments of devastating heartbreak.” Grohl expressed gratitude to former band members William Goldsmith, Franz Stahl, and Josh Freese, acknowledging their contributions to the band’s story.

Grohl also paid a heartfelt tribute to late drummer Taylor Hawkins, stating, “Your name is spoken every day, sometimes with tears, sometimes with a smile.” The band did not disclose the drummer for “Today’s Song,” but the drumming style resembled Grohl’s work on their debut album and with Nirvana.
