Shinedown frontman Brent Smith says the band’s latest singles “Three Six Five” and “Dance, Kid, Dance” were aimed at diversifying their fanbase.
Smith gave an update on the next album, which is says is 85% into the production process, with a couple of songs still in the writing phase. He said the band is aiming to have the record out in March of 2026.
The album, Shinedown’s eighth, will not be conceptual but a collection of songs that belong together but are diverse in style. The band believes in pushing themselves as songwriters and musicians while staying authentic to their creativity and career.
Shinedown will be performing at Milwaukee’s Fiserv Forum July 26th.
