The Rolling Stones are working on a new album after canceling a summer tour, with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood recording 13 songs in the studio. The new record would be the band’s 25th studio album.  Their last, Hackney Diamonds, was released in 2023.

The band have been working with producer Andrew Watt and new drummer Steve Jordan on the new album.  A release date has not yet been announced. The Stones had initially planned a U.S. tour that couldn’t be scheduled, leading them to focus on recording the new album instead.
