HBO has announced that its IT prequel series, IT: Welcome to Derry, will premiere this fall with nine episodes. Based on Stephen King’s IT novel, the series expands on the vision established in the IT films directed by Andy Muschietti.
Bill Skarsgård will reprise his role as Pennywise the Dancing Clown, with Muschietti serving as a writer and executive producer. The cast includes Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, and others. The series will stream on HBO Max this fall.
