Liam Neeson is set to star in the upcoming reboot of The Naked Gun franchise, playing Frank Drebin Jr, the son of Leslie Nielsen’s original character.
The movie also stars Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, Kevin Durand, and Danny Huston. The original Naked Gun film, released in 1988, was a commercial success and led to two sequels.
It already has one critic, David Zucker. He’s one of the geniuses behind the original movies. After watching the clip, Zucker said, “I’m not planning on seeing the “Naked Gun” remake. I regret having seen the trailer for it. I can’t unsee it.”
The movie opens August 1st.
