Apparently, the video for Disturb’s cover of “The Sound of Silence” has been anything but silent.

The clip, which has been online for more than eight years, has officially surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube. By comparison, the video for the original Simon and Garfunkel version of the song has garnered 134 million views.

The feat puts the clip in an exclusive 1 billion view club that also includes Radiohead’s “Creep,” Hoobastank’s “The Reason,” and Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger.”
