“Man on the Run,” a documentary chronicling Paul McCartney’s life following The Beatles, will be available for streaming globally on Amazon Prime starting February 27th. The film will focus on the period from The Beatles’ 1970 break-up to Wings’ rise to fame in the mid-1970s, using never-before-seen archive material and new interviews.

Filmmaker Morgan Neville aims to explore and reappraise the 1970s, a crucial but under-examined part of McCartney’s story, capturing his emotional, artistic, and personal challenges during that transformative era. The documentary delves into the intersection of family and art, portraying McCartney’s pursuit of his muse in a playful yet introspective manner, showcasing his creativity and personal struggles.

“Man on the Run” was produced by McCartney’s MPL and Polygram Entertainment, spanning 115 minutes and offering a nostalgic and intimate look at the iconic musician during a creatively potent time in his life.
