Just when you thought Frida couldn’t get any weirder than its viral breast milk-flavored ice cream, the parenting brand is back with another eyebrow-raising creation: Booger Bites — gummy candies inspired by, yes, actual boogers.
Known for its baby-care essentials like the NoseFrida snot sucker, Frida is leaning into its expertise in all things nasal with this latest “treat.” The company describes Boogie Bites (that’s the official name) as “slightly sweet, a little salty, and packed with Vitamin C.” The gummies even come in three distinct booger-like shapes and shades of green, yellow, and brown.
To ensure the flavor was just right, Frida says it consulted real-life booger eaters — and while that might sound disgusting, the company insists the result is a less-gross way to “eat your boogers.”
Thankfully, these gummies contain zero real boogers. The ingredient list features tapioca syrup, cane sugar, pectin, fruit and vegetable juices, and natural coloring from turmeric and spirulina. Each box retails for $3.99 (some listings show $4.99) and is sold exclusively on Gopuff — though early reports say they’ve already sold out.
Boogie Bites arrive just in time for cold and flu season, or as Frida cheekily calls it, “booger season.” Whether they’ll taste better than the notoriously gross “booger” jelly beans from Harry Potter’s Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans remains to be seen — but there’s only one way to find out.
So if you ever wondered whether that kid “digging for gold” was onto something, Frida’s got a new (and slightly less gross) way to find out.
