Kevin Cronin has admitted that touring under his own name has not been as successful as he had hoped. The Kevin Cronin Band, which includes members of REO Speedwagon, is facing challenges due to the absence of the REO Speedwagon name and logo.

Cronin had to cancel some upcoming shows due to challenges in booking dates as the Kevin Cronin Band. The band will no longer tour, and the crew will be available for other projects after fulfilling current commitments. Bruce Hall, former bassist of REO Speedwagon, indicates that he and keyboardist Neal Doughty wanted REO Speedwagon to continue with the 2023 lineup, but Kevin Cronin chose to go solo under his own name.

Cronin is now considering solo performances and finishing his memoir. Despite the challenges, Cronin expressed love and support for his current crew members and their future endeavors.

You can catch Kevin and his band in The Brotherhood of Rock tour featuring Styx and Don Felder (formerly of the Eagles) when they play in Milwaukee at American Family Insurance Amphitheater on Sunday, August 24th.
