Jack Black is hosting “Saturday Night Live” for the first time in nearly 20 years on April 5 – and he’s having “nightmares and night terrors” getting ready.
Black praised the current “SNL” cast, referring to them as “all those kids,” and mentioned that he was on the show before some of them were born, except for Kenan Thompson. Elton John and Brandi Carlile will be the musical guests this weekend.
Black has hosted SNL three times before but it’s been a minute – 2002, 2003, and 2005.
Black will be promoting his upcoming film, A Minecraft Movie, directed by Jared Hess and featuring a star-studded cast including Jason Momoa and Jennifer Coolidge. A Minecraft Movie comes out this Friday, April 4th.
