Ann Wilson addressed performing in a wheelchair due to a recent injury, not cancer, stating, “It’s about me being a klutz… and falling into a parking lot and busting my elbow in three places.” Wilson explained that her decision to sit in a wheelchair during performances is due to the pain in her arm, saying, “I really think that the pain level is still way too high for me to take it out of the sling.”
Some fans expressed disappointment at seeing Wilson in a wheelchair, to which she responded, “I’ve gotten so many suggestions, like ‘Make it look like a throne.'” Wilson emphasized that her current health issue is her third recent ailment after knee surgeries and cancer treatment, stating, “First I had my knees done, then I had cancer, now I have the elbow. So that’s gonna be it.”
Heart is currently on their “Royal Flush Tour” and they’ll be in Milwaukee March 26th with special guests Cheap Trick.
