Anna Sawai, known for her roles in TV shows like Shogun and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, is rumored to be in talks to play Yoko Ono in the upcoming Beatles biopics directed by Sam Mendes.
The biopics will focus on each member of The Beatles, forming a connected cinematic universe. Other rumored casting choices include Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr, and Joseph Quinn and Charlie Rowe as George Harrison.
The films are set to be released in 2027 and are being produced with the cooperation of McCartney and Starr, as well as the families of Harrison and Lennon.
