If you’ve watched the documentary Get Back, you saw George Harrison resist the idea, telling his bandmates “I don’t wanna go on the roof. Of course I don’t wanna go on the roof.”
Harrison was already on the outs with the rest of the Beatles, who would break up shortly after.
