HBO has released the new trailer for their upcoming documentary Music Box: Yacht Rock: A Dockumentary, set to be released on November 29th.
Directed by Garrett Price he explores how the ‘yacht’ rock earned its label and speaks to the artists who handled with it rise and legacy. The ‘dockumentary’ has interviews from Kenny Loggins, Christopher Cross, Michael McDonald, Thundercat, Questlove of The Roots, and more.
Yacht Rock is the latest entry in HBO’s Music Box series; they also have documentaries on Woodstock ’99, DMX and Kenny G.
Yacht Rock: A Dockumentary will also stream on MAX.
