Billy Idol is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the iconic ‘Rebel Yell’ album in an awesome way.
Idol and guitarist Steve Stevens recently performed an acoustic version of “Rebel Yell” live from the secret balcony on the 103rd Floor of the Empire State Building to commemorate the occasion. Can we have more of this, PLEASE? Call it the “Empire Single” and have artists do one of their hits from the 103rd floor. Fans would eat this up!
Idol has also released a deluxe expanded edition of the ‘Rebel Yell’ album, that includes previously unreleased songs and demos, the Poolside remix of “Eyes Without A Face,” and a brand-new song called “Best Way Out Of Here,” recorded during the original sessions.
