Pearl Jam kicked off their Dark Matter tour in Vancouver over the weekend. The 25-song setlist included seven songs from their new album Dark Matter, along with classics like “Yellow Ledbetter” and “Corduroy”.
They also played a few covers, like Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World” and Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down”, as well as “Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns” by Mother Love Bone – the band guitarist Stone Gossard and bassist Jeff Ament were in before forming Pearl Jam.
