David Lee Roth has dropped a new one-off single – and it’s about as far from his work with Van Halen as one could get.
The track, called “Scotch and Sofa 4..,” features a brass section that punctuates a bass-laden salsa backbeat with an overall cabaret feel – without so much as a hint of a distorted guitar.
Although Roth has yet to offer any information on the song, critics are speculating it may have been recorded about 10 years ago along with other recently-released tracks.
