A guy in Germany broke a world record by chugging a full cup of coffee in THREE SECONDS.
His name is Felix von Meibom, and his official time was 3.12 seconds. He did it in September, but Guinness just posted the footage after confirming the record.
It’s hard to tell if it was still hot when he chugged it. It kind of looked as if it was in the video and a few sources claim it was, but the Guinness website doesn’t mention that being a requirement. It also doesn’t mention the exact amount of coffee that is drank but in the video it seems that it is about 7 ounces or about 200 milliliters.
The previous record was 3.17 seconds. So he only beat it by five one-hundredths of a second.
A lot of people in the Instagram comments seem to think they could do it faster and it would seem like maybe it would be possible to go faster but after watching the video below you may change your mind.
