You can still get your votes in for the National Toy Hall of Fame. Toys include Ken doll, baseball cards, Battleship, Bingo, Bop It, Cabbage Patch Kids, Choose Your Own Adventure gamebooks, Connect 4, Little Tykes Cozy Coupe, Nerf, slime and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
You can vote once per day through October 24th by click here! The winners will be announced November 9th at their induction ceremony.
New this year, to celebrate the National Toy Hall of Fame’s 25th Anniversary, they’re doing something called the ‘Forgotten Five’ Finalists. These five toys have been among the toy finalist in the past and they’re always ‘forgotten’ about. This year you can vote for one of the ‘forgotten’ toys to be inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame. Those toys include; Pogo Stick, the Fisher-Price Corn Popper. My Little Pony, PEZ dispensers and Transformers.
Chief curator Christopher Bensch says this about the forgotten finalist:
“Now, one of these five will make the hall and, for the first time, it will be purely in the hands of the voting public.”
