30 years ago today, Meat Loaf went back into hell – and back on top of the charts.
On Sept. 14th, 1993, the singer released Bat Out Of Hell II: Back Into Hell – which included his first-ever No. 1 single, “I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)”.
An epic music video – which saw constant play on MTV – helped Back Into Hell sell 5 million copies and gave Meat Loaf a second act to his career.
