Mark Rolfing, NBC Golf Channel Analyst and one of the games most respected voices joined Trav and Paul to talk about the upcoming U.S. Senior Open at SentryWorld. The guys had a great conversation about an event of this magnitude coming to Stevens Point.
Mark has been spending time the last few days getting a feel for the area and SentryWorld in preparation for the Open. He was kind enough to drop in on the Big Cheese Morning Show, and Trav and Paul were pretty excited to find out he was a fan of the show (he was kidding but according to the guys he said it, so now it’s true). Mark offered up some great advice and valuable tips for people who are planning on attending the tournament. From where to stand, Mark’s favorite hole on the course and also his gloating on the ease of parking saying, “I don’t know that I have ever seen parking at a major that is as close to the front gate as we have at SentryWorld.”
Mark has fallen in love with the golf course using the world “precision” to describe SentryWorld. “I never would have thought of this, but the world I am now using when people ask me about the course is precision. It is going to take tremendous precision to win this tournament.”
