A new rap song written in support of the San Diego Padres has gone viral — for all the wrong reasons.
The untitled song, performed by six guys in Padres gear on KUSI’s Good Morning San Diego on Tuesday, features such lyrics as, “Phillie goin’ down to yellow and brown,” and, “Padres on the loose, let’s go Goose.”
Since it was posted Tuesday morning, the clip has been viewed thousands of times — soliciting such comments as, “What did I just watch?” and “Not everyone in San Diego is like this.” Yet another viewer writes, “I can’t stop watching, and every time, somehow, it gets worse.”
