A new – and massive – 90’s supergroup was formed during the Barenaked Ladies’ ‘Last Summer On Earth’ tour stop at Red Rocks. All three bands – BNL, Gin Blossoms, and Toad The Wet Sprocket – joined together onstage for a show-closing cover of the Traveling Wilburys’ classic “Handle With Care”.
The Wilburys, of course, were a supergroup of their own – with George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, and Jeff Lynne.
The ‘Last Summer On Earth’ tour continues into mid-July with a stop tomorrow night (Tuesday) in Madison.
