With the war going on between Ukraine and Russia, there’s been an increased interest in streaming the 1984 movie “Red Dawn”. You know the one where the U.S. is under attack from the Soviet Union?
Well, if you remember, the group of teenage freedom fighters (that includes Patrick Swayze, Charlie Sheen, and C. Thomas Howell) call themselves the Wolverines.
A journalist for NPR who’s in Ukraine saw an abandoned Russian tank yesterday . . . with “Wolverines” spray painted on the side. He wasn’t able to snag a photo, but luckily Twitter did its thing and someone came through in the comments.
Coincidence? I think not!
